Robert Louton, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Robert Louton is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon practicing  in Central Pennsylvania for over 20 years.  In that time, he has effectively used his talent and ability to help thousands of  patients improve the quality of their lives.  A native of Los Angeles, Dr. Louton received his Medical Degree from SouthWestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas and perfected his plastic surgical skills at the Medical University of South Carolina.  Impressive qualifications include additional training in hand surgery, cosmetic lasers of all types, ultrasound and laser assisted liposculpture  and his membership in the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Surgeons.

Dr. Louton is passionate about his profession, and he is just as passionate about his hobbies. Dr. "Bob" is an accomplished guitar player, wood worker, and sailor.  He is a wine aficionado and loves to cook.  Free time is spent with family,  hopefully on or near the water.  

Fanny Louton, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Fanny Louton  founded the non-surgical cosmetic services at Blair Plastic Surgery in 1997.  Her goal is to offer her patients the best state-of-the-art choices for self enhancement by combining the benefit of her cosmetic dermatology knowledge with the latest innovations and skills of cosmetic plastic surgery.  Dr. Louton received her Medical Degree at the Medical University of South Carolina and additionally holds a Master of Public Health with emphasis in Preventive Medicine.  Her varied medical background also includes training in Pathology, Family Practice, Cosmetic Lasers and Light Source Technologies, and Cosmetic Dermatology.

Drs. Fanny and Bob Louton have two grown children both living in State College.  Dr. "Fanny" is fluent in 3 languages and spends her free time cooking, spinning or traveling.

Jodi
Clinical Director

Prior to joining Blair Plastic Surgery, Jodi worked 25 years in the operating room at the Altoona Regional Health Center.  For ten of those years, she worked directly with Dr. Robert Louton assisting in the plastic surgery cases he performed at the hospital.  Jodi enjoyed plastic surgery so much that she decided to leave the hospital setting to work exclusively with Blair Plastic Surgery.  Since 2008, Jodi has been the Clinical Director for our Centre for the Surgical Arts.  Her duties include overseeing the operating room and nursing staff as well as direct patient care in both the office setting and the operating room.

Jodi is a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) and additionally holds a Certification in Nursing of the Operating Room (CNOR).  She is presently pursuing her Bachelors Degree in Nursing.

Outside of work, Jodi enjoys biking and spending time with her granddaughter.

Diane
Certified Plastic Surgery Nurse

Diane has been an essential member of Blair Plastic Surgery since 1991.  Her dedication and hard work has been instrumental in making our practice a success.   Diane is a Registered Nurse (RN) as well as a Certified Plastic Surgery Nurse (CPSN).  She enjoys patient education and directs her attention to ensuring that our surgery patients undergo a positive surgical experience.

Diane received her plastic surgery nursing certification in 1993.

Diane lives in Hollidaysburg with her husband Rick.  Diane is a proud grandmother of two, and enjoys cooking and gardening.

Christina
Registered Nurse

Christina is a registered nurse (RN) and has been with us since 2007. Christina works in both the office clinic and in the operating room. She enjoys educating and caring for our patients who comment often on her friendly and compassionate personality.

Outside of work, Christina is an avid cyclist and participates in the MS 150 miles annual bike tour.

Christina, her husband Cris, and her dog Annie live in Roaring Spring.

Jennifer
Registered Nurse

Jen is a registered nurse with over 6 years of plastic surgery experience.  She utilizes her strong knowledge base during clinic to assist Dr. Robert Louton with cosmetic patient consults and thorough patient education.  She also regularly cares for our patients in the operating room recovery area.  Her warm and gentle personality  will assure  you have a pleasant and comfortable experience.

Jen, her husband Dan, and their two children are originally from central pennsylvania and have recently moved  back from the Baltimore area.  In her spare time, Jen enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Aimee
Surgical Technologist

Aimee has been working at Blair Plastic Surgery as a Surgical Technologist since 2003. Her duties include assisting Dr. Louton in surgery, preparing the operating room, and educating patients about cosmetic surgery procedures at their clinic appointments.  Aimee is an experienced and dedicated professional who is attentive to our patients’ every need. 

Aimee lives in Colver with her husband, Brian and their daughter, Madison.

Catherine
Surgical Technologist

Catherine is both a Certified Medical Assistant and a Certified Surgical Technologist.  She regularly assists Dr. Louton in surgery at our surgery center and also helps with patient care during clinic visits.  Catherine’s genuine compassion and sunny disposition provide an atmosphere of comfort that patients both desire and deserve. 

Catherine lives in Tyrone with her daughter, Caylin.  When she is not working, Catherine likes to spend time with family and friends.

Diane
Certified Laser Technician

Diane is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and has been working with Dr. Fanny Louton in the Laser and Skin Care Clinic since 2008.  Her main duties include using lasers for non-surgical treatments such as laser hair removal and sun damage correction as well as medical skin care procedures.  She additionally sees patients in our surgical clinics and helps with consultations and follow-ups from surgery.

Diane is certified in Cosmetic Laser Operations and Safety and is a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialists.

Diane lives in State College with her daughter Amelia. When she is not working, she enjoys tailgating and attending Penn State sporting events.

Rebecca
Medical Skin Care Specialist

Rebecca has been working at Blair Plastic Surgery as a Medical Skin Care Specialist since May 2008. Her artistic abilities coupled with her warm and caring personality are a winning combination.  Rebecca consistently excels in every facet of patient care, and is committed to improve the overall health and appearance of her patients' skin.

Rebecca is Pennsylvania licensed in Cosmetology and is a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialist.  She is also certified in Cosmetic Lasers Operations and Safety.

Rebecca lives in Boalsburg with her fiancé, Ken and their four dogs, Rufus, Lovey, Maxie and Zoey.

Jamie
Office Manager

Jamie is Blair Plastic Surgery’s Office Manager.  Her duties have ranged from accounting and human resources management to maintenance of accreditation for our surgery center.

Jamie has degrees in both Accounting (BS) and Business Administration (BA) and lives in Claysburg.  When she is not working, Jamie likes gardening, walking and antiquing.  Jamie can be reached at jdodson@atlanticbbn.net.

Brittany
Medical Billing

Brittany is Blair Plastic Surgery’s Billing Manager and has been with us since August 2007. Her main duties include pre-authorizations, posting and collection of payments, and working with insurance and financing companies.  Brittany is available to answer any of your insurance or financing questions and will ensure that your experience with our practice is a pleasant one.

Laura
Medical Secretary

Laura has worked at Blair Plastic Surgery as a medical secretary since 1991.   With over 18 years of experience assisting our patients, you are sure to feel valued and comfortable in Laura's care.  She is always pleasant and happy to help you in any way that she can.  Her duties are varied and include scheduling patient surgeries at our private surgical facility and area hospitals as needed.

Laura lives in Altoona with her husband, Scott and their three children.  When not working, Laura likes to spend time with her family and friends and also loves to shop. 

Sheila
Medical Secretary

Sheila has been a member of our staff for over 15 years. Her job duties include coordinating our ambulatory surgery center's schedule and activities by acting as the liaison between our surgical and clerical staff. When at the front desk, she warmly greets each patient as they arrive to the office and helps to answer the busy phones. Additionally, Sheila has an excellent grasp of the English language and transcribes at the lightening speed of over 100 wpm.

Holly
Medical Secretary

Holly is one of the initial employees to greet you when arriving at Blair Plastic Surgery.  Her cheery face and warm smile will make you feel at ease when checking in for your appointment. Holly has many years of medical secretarial experience and joined our front office in 2009. 
Holly lives in Tyrone with her boyfriend Dennis and daughter Miley.
